At FJ&B, we believe in building more than just buildings—we’re committed to shaping the future of engineering. That’s why we’re proud to announce a new partnership with City of Westminster College, aimed at providing hands-on experience to students undertaking their T-Level qualifications in Engineering.

T-Levels are a new type of qualification, combining classroom learning with practical industry placements. For students, they’re an essential step into the professional world. For us, they’re an opportunity to mentor, inspire, and grow the talent our industry will rely on tomorrow.

Recently, members of our team had the privilege of visiting the college to speak directly with the Engineering T-Level cohort. We introduced them to the world of MEP engineering consulting, sharing insights into our projects, how we collaborate with clients and construction teams, and the diverse career paths available in our field.

Next, we’ll be inviting interested students to apply for a structured work placement with FJ&B. They’ll go through real-world application and interview processes—an invaluable experience in itself—before selected students join us on live projects under the guidance of our engineering teams.

This is more than just a placement. It’s an opportunity for students to experience engineering in action, to grow in confidence, and to understand how classroom theory translates into real-world impact.
