Located in Feltham, the project comprises of two nine storey residential towers, a four-storey block of flats and seven Mews houses. Combining a mixture of apartments, houses and maisonettes, the project also includes landscaped gardens and public realm for residents to enjoy, along with wildlife areas, a park and new pathways.
Totalling 102 new homes, this council housing scheme will offer up great opportunity and standard of living for its residents.
FJ&B have been involved since Stage 4 – providing the detailed designs and construction design information pack to enable the site works to take place.
Engaged to deliver a full mechanical, electrical and public health design package. The scheme is being constructed in phases, with the first parts being completed early 2022 ready for handover to the Client
Particular challenges experienced have been fitting the services into very shallow ceiling voids, ensuring a neat and tidy services cupboard can be fully maintained and turning over a high volume of information in short programme periods. The project will achieve good energy efficiency, benefiting from a high quantity of photovoltaic panels and relying on electrical infrastructure, with no gas required on site
