Stepping Up for Physical Health

As part of our ongoing focus on wellbeing, we turned our attention to physical health with a 3-week step count challenge that got everyone on their feet (literally). With categories for most steps in a single day and most steps over the 3-week period, the competition quickly heated up... or at least our Fitbits did.


The undisputed champion? Morton, who racked up an unbelievable 43,303 steps in a single day. (We’re still not sure if he walked to another city or just forgot to sit down.) On top of that, Morton claimed victory in the overall category too, clocking in at a whopping 223,328 steps over the challenge. Safe to say, he’s earned a comfy chair and a foot massage.


To celebrate our step count success and promote a bit more movement, we held a Physical Health Day, where we revealed the winners and took the team out for a sunny afternoon bike ride. We cycled from the office to Hyde Park, taking in the sights and soaking up the fresh air through its beautiful bike routes.


It was a perfect way to combine wellness, fun, and a bit of mid-week sunshine—and a great reminder of how small lifestyle changes (or 43,000 steps) can make a big impact on our health.
