This project included the challenge and preservation of the Grade II listing and character of the house. Located in Knightsbridge, this refurbishment to the dwelling comprised of a two-level basement and 5 floors of living space above, requiring full reconfiguration of the internals for modern-day luxury family living.


The project entailed high end specifications and products whilst simultaneously integrating state-of-the-art design elements, through the use of modern technology and materials. 

FJ&B were engaged to update the existing stage 4 design with a new client brief and fully coordinate the MEP systems alongside the architect to achieve a high level and aesthetic finish. 


As the property was located within the borough of Westminster, the acoustic criteria was extremely difficult to achieve.  The external condenser had to undergo a number of assessments and relocations in order to find a solution that satisfied airflow, performance and noise breakout.


Additionally, FJ&B liaised with the utilities companies on the behalf of the client to ensure that the property had suitable provisions for its updated MEP systems.


Full air conditioning, audio visual facilities, sauna and gym were just some of the provisions made to realise the end goal, with the project completing in Spring 2021
