At FJ&B, we’re proud of the diversity within our team—something we believe makes us stronger, more creative, and better at what we do. To celebrate this, we recently held a Culture Day where everyone was invited to share a bit of their heritage with the team.
The day was filled with engaging presentations, traditional clothing, and some truly delicious food! Our team members spoke about their countries, customs, and personal stories—giving us a glimpse into cultures from Nigeria, Morocco, India, Sri Lanka, Kazakhstan, and of course, the UK.
From homemade roti and chutney from Sri Lanka to horse meat—a delicacy in Kazakhstan—the event was a feast for both the mind and the palate. Some colleagues wore traditional attire, adding colour and vibrancy to the day, and everyone walked away having learned something new.
It wasn’t just about geography or food—it was about connection, understanding, and celebrating what makes us unique. It’s days like these that remind us why fostering an inclusive environment is so important.
A big thank you to everyone who presented, participated, and brought a part of their world into ours.
